Receptionist/Kennel Assistant

We are looking for a receptionist / kennel assistant to join our expanding team at Bridge Veterinary Centre.

The successful candidate would be required to provide excellent customer and patient care to our clients and their pets whilst working in a fast-paced environment. 

The role involves a minimum of 27 hours a week plus a shared Saturday morning rota and holiday cover. You would be based at our Pontllanfraith surgery but the rota would also include shifts at our Brynmawr surgery. 

Duties include but are not limited to: 

Welcoming our clients and their pets and responding to telephone calls and emails from clients in a professional and timely manner 

Processing payments and balancing end of day takings 

Accurately recording information using our IT systems 

Assisting our nursing team with in-patient care 

Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment 

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and professional with the ability to adapt to changing situations. You should be a team player and treat clients and colleagues with respect. Previous experience of customer care and /or animal handling would be beneficial.
