Shane McDonald

I started at Bridge vets in 2016 and graduated as Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2018. I have multiple roles within practice from clinical nursing, clinical coaching, and infection prevention control ambassador. I have keen interests within practice which are feline nursing, surgical nursing, wildlife and exotics. 

I am currently undertaking the Advanced Programme Vet Nursing Small Mammals (APVN Small Mammals) module.  

One of the best parts about working as a veterinary nurse is witnessing the human-animal bond between family and their pets. Its so special to see and always brings a smile to my face.

When I am not working, I enjoy walking, baking, gardening, crafting. 

I have lots of pets at home which range from a cat called Brian to tortoises and budgies.
